What’s in a name…

As I’m sure most of you know by now, on the 18th of October Etsy is giving us the chance to change our shop name. Personally I am stoked about this as my Etsy store name has been bothering me for a little while now and I was wishing to change it, just slightly.

The main thing to remember is not to rush into changing your name. Think about what sells from your store, what your main themes are and where you want your store to go in the future. You store name needs to reflect your products in a positive way of course but you want something that is also going to be memorable.

There has been a lot of chatter in the blogosphere about the name changing option and I wanted to get your opinion on the changes.
