These flower place cards are simple, sophisticated and quite easy to make! You only need a handful of supplies and they can be quite a cost-effective option for your place cards.
Materials
Brown kraft paper
White card stock
Jute string
Fresh flowers
2″ circle cutter
Printer
Scissors
Sticky tape
The process
Step 1
Trim any leaves and thorns from your flowers. You can do this with scissors or if your flowers are a little tougher to get through you might want to try some pruning shears.
Step 2
Cut a small piece of kraft wrapping paper to the size you need for the posy bunch. You want it to be roughly the same size as the flowers from the tip of the petals to the base of the stem. Then move the flowers up slightly so they will comfortably poke out of the top of the paper wrap.
Step 3
Wrap the paper around the flower stems and add a small piece of tape to hold the paper in place.
Step 4
Print out your guests names in a calligraphy font leaving enough space between each name to make the tags. Use a 2″ circle punch to cut out your tags.
Step 5
Use a standard-size hold punch to make a small hole in the top of the tag, and tie it to the flowers with a small piece of string.
And you’re finished! I love these so much!
If you make them for your event please send me photos! I’d love to see them.
