The Wild Collective – Melbourne
Last weekend I was on a little weekend away in Melbourne with the fam. (Love Melbourne so much… but that’s a story for another day…)
We had some time to kill before our flights back to Sydney so we headed over to the exhibition building because my Dad wanted to check it out. (it’s ridiculously pretty!) To my utter delight The Wild Collective was on! HURRAH!
I hadn’t come across The Wild Collective before but needless to say I’m a big fan now!
I saw so many amazing creative people showing off their wears. I’m kind of glad I was about to hop on a plane back home, if I this event was in Sydney I think I would have bought A LOT of stuff. Having said that I do have a list of things I plan to order from these sellers online… so I guess it’s just delaying the process…
They also had the best selection of food trucks! I got a really good vege paella from a cute little caravan. I can’t remember the name of the van. If anyone knows, please let me know. 🙂
Here’s just a few of the great sellers I discovered!
Koa
These pretties are hand calved by artisans in Bali.
I love that each one is slightly different. You know that the item you’re holding in your hot little hands has had someone love and attention for as long as it takes to get a beautiful finished piece.
The Naturalist
They had the most amazing collection of things! Feathers, butterflies, beautifully succulents in vintage pieces like in the pic above. All you vintage lovers, you HAVE to check out The Naturalist.
Sarah Made These
How great are these necklaces! As the name suggests, Sarah makes these great necklaces as well as bracelets and cuffs.
I love her colour pallet!
Amelia Kingston Art
Amelia makes the bust beautiful little ceramic pieces!
How gorgeous are these planters?
I just bought a little pair or her earrings from her Etsy store. Really cute. Can’t wait to get them. 🙂
There was a bunch of other amazing creatives at The Wild Collective. These are just the few that I managed to snap half decent photos of! Highly recommend checking out The Wild Collective if they come to a town near you. 🙂
Did you go to The Wild Collective?
