Tell us a little about yourself

Hi! I am Lindsay from ldc designs. I am an environmental student in Nova Scotia who enjoys blogging about photography, craftyness and everyday life. Come check out my blog for some DIYs, tutorials and freebies!

Tell us a little about your corner of the world. What’s it like where you live?

Well, I go to school in Nova Scotia, but I live in Maine. There seems to be a lot of trees in both areas. It snows in the winter is hot in the summer, I enjoy it! I also live by water in both places which is pretty nice!

Have you always been a crafter?

I have always, always been a crafter. My Easy Bake oven was used for baking clay when I was 6. I started selling my crafts with my Grandmother at the market when I was 7. I made painted rocks that summer and sold them all for $1.00 each. Then my crafts evolved, I got my first sewing machine and I have been sewing ever since. Now I also crochet quite often. My crafts these days are purses, hats, wallets, lap top cases and hair accessories.

If you could swap places with anyone from a movie who would it be?

Eeyore. He has been my all-time favorite since I was a child. I am actually wearing a very unflattering Eeyore sweater right now!

Tell us a little about yourself
I’m Katie, I post a lot of crafty tutorials and inspiration over on my blog Punk Projects. When I’m not crafting or blogging you might find me cycling, swimming, or watching Star Trek.

Tell us a little about your corner of the world. What’s it like where you live?
What’s it like in Texas? Hot. Atleast a lot of the time, right now it’s not too hot but it will be soon. 😉

Have you always been a crafter?
Always. My mom did crafts with my sister and I when we were kids, I also started scrapbooking when I was about 12. Now I do all types of crafts- Scrapbooking, Sewing, Mixed Media, etc.

What are some of your favourite creations that we can take a peek at online?
I recently did a tutorial for a Lens Cap Pouch that you attach to your camera strap.
I’ve also been doing a lot of zentangling, and did a mini tutorial for it.

If you could swap places with anyone from a movie who would it be?
Someone from Star Trek. 🙂
